I have a passion for babywearing because I know first-hand how life changing it can be. After I had my first baby, I experienced postpartum anxiety, and felt completely overwhelmed. Carrying my daughter in a ring sling allowed me to bring her to work with me and keep her close. This helped ease my anxiety and reach my breastfeedng goals.

Through my work as a doula, I’ve seen how babywearing has helped parents feel empowered. I’ve also seen how confusing it can be to choose the right carrier and get started. The KC Babywearers group has given me the opportunity to reach more parents and give them the babywearing help they’re looking for.
